I had the idea to take a tiny big leaf maple and plant it as a raft in some fine media. This has been growing quite slowly and has very stunted leaves. Curious if it will take off or not.

Observation
Photos taken of the big leaf maple I'm trying to make into a shohin raft. Either it will look stupid or maybe it'll minimize the leaves and not look too crazy? We'll see how it goes.
