- Young-ish engelmann spruce in nice pot from Nicky Ducommun, appears to be ~14-17 years old based on branch whorls and thickness. Likely was a young yamadori. Very straight. Maybe formal upright? Or needs serious styling.

Unwire
Really bad scarring. Will need to be trunk chopped.
I noticed that the wire up the trunk was biting in quite a bit so I took it off today. It left some really bad marking as seen in the photos. I am going to let the tree recover as much as possible and my give it a good chop later with a much lower leader.
